Representatives of the Western Finland Rescue Training Area Foundation Visit to the Fire and Rescue Department
On 23 January 2025, the delegation from the Western Finland Rescue Training Area Foundation, led by Ms Mari Kaunistola, Member of the Finnish Parliament and Chairman of the Foundation, visited the Fire and Rescue Department (the Department).
The Foundation is a non-profit organization which organizes training for rescue services, the police, medics, military personnel, other public institutions and the private sector at the Pori City Training Centre.
The aim of the meeting was to exchange knowledge and information on training for firefighters as well as to discuss potential cooperation opportunities.
The meeting was attended by Adviser of the Department Ms Tatjana Milkamanovič, Chief of the Fire Fighters Training School Mr Kęstutis Agintas and Head of International Relations Division of the Department Ms Ieva Monika Jankuvienė.
