Lithuanian Firefighters Provide a Helping Hand to the Ukrainian Firefighters
Lithuanian firefighters are assisting their colleagues from Ukraine in working under wartime conditions. On 12 September 2025, humanitarian assistance from the Fire and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania was delivered to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Firefighters rescuers in Poltava region of Ukraine will receive 26 sets of firefighter protective clothing, 30 firefighter helmets, 20 firefighter hoods, 20 pairs of firefighter boots, 876 pairs of firefighter gloves, and 50 pairs of firefighter gloves for rescue operations.
The value of the donated items is estimated approx. EUR 120 000. This is the 6th delivery of the humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian firefighters.
