Lithuanian Firefighters Awarded as the Best Team in the FireFit European Championships in Torun
Lithuanian team won first place in the best team category (three best individual times achieved by Mr Lukas Leonavičius, Mr Romualdas Vilimas and Mr Andrius Ašmontas) during the2024 FireFit European Championships, taken place in Torun on 27–30 June 2024. Men’s team relay brought third place to Mr Karolis Gražinis, Mr Lukas Leonavičius, Mr Remigijus Balčiūnas, Mr Gintautas Samauskis and Mr Romualdas Vilimas.
S. Norušaitis, L. Kivilius, R. Bartkutė, R. Orda and D. Adomaitis won third place during the team relay in the category over 40, second place went to Mr Gražinis and Mr Vilimas in the doubles category. R. Orda and H Joakit (Estonia) won second place in doubles category over 50.
In the individual standings, L. Leonavičius won first place in the category under 30 and second place in the overall standings.
J Višnevski took second place in the category under 30, while Ms Bartkutė took second place in the category over 40. Mr Orda took second place in the category over 55.
